Tree in Green Park. This is one of the trees in the Broad Walk, the double avenue that leads north and west from the Canada Gate the Green Park. Other trees in this avenue include a number of trees of the 'London Form'.

Trees beside Fulham Palace Gardens, alongside the riverside walk, looking towards Putney Bridge. This shows the characteristic branching pattern of mature trees, the rugged bark where the branch joins the trunk, and the relatively straight branches.

Shows the trunk and the base of primary branches. This picture is of a mature tree on Clapham Common.

Note the rugged bark on the trunk below the branches. There is also some characteristic fluting of the tree trunk, part hidden by the seedling elder.
